Panel on Violence Against Indigenous Women

The panel explored the many manifestations of violence against Indigenous women and concrete strategies to combat violence at local, national and international levels. It introduced definitions of violence against women and gender-based violence from an Indigenous perspective and proposed recommendations for integrating these perspectives into public policies.

Panel on Funding for Indigenous Women's Rights

The panel discussed funding trends, priorities and strategies as well as issues related to financial sustainability and mobilization of resources for the work that Indigenous women do on the promotion of women's rights at the local, national and international level.
